Help us restore the Blinn House Pergola to all of its 1906 glory.
In this final phase of the Blinn House Capital Campaign, we will be restoring the Blinn House’s most noticeable exterior feature – the iconic pergola. This signature exterior feature provides a dramatic first impression to visitors and sets the stage for the rest of the Blinn House’s design aesthetic, as was intended by the house’s architect, George W. Maher.
Unfortunately, time has rendered the pergola’s wood brittle, cracked, and, in some places, completely missing. We will be replacing the wood with redwood, as was used in the original design, and custom cutting the wood beams using a master craftsman.
