The meeting will focus on Mansionization in non-hillside Pasadena neighborhoods that do not have Landmark District designation. Large new single-family homes and major remodels have been on the upswing and can change the character and scale of residential streets and neighborhoods. The City of Pasadena is in the process of drafting new regulations on single-family construction, and information gathered at this meeting will provide constructive input. The evening’s agenda also includes an introduction to the City’s upcoming Specific Plan process where eight areas of the city are targeted to receive special consideration under the recently updated General Plan.
