It was a wonderful magical night and a great success for Pasadena Heritage, the city of Pasadena, and the preservation of historic and culturally significant landmarks.  We truly could not hold this beloved one-of-a-kind Pasadena tradition without you.

On Saturday, July 15, 2023 Pasadena Heritage held the Bridge Party on the Colorado Street Bridge after an unprecedented five-year hiatus. This beloved and uniquely Pasadena tradition dates back to 1978 when the inaugural Colorado Street Bridge Party was held in celebration of our successful efforts to stave off the demolition of this historic Pasadena icon.

With live music from the Jimbonaires, Upstream, Mercy and the Merkettes, Art Deco Entertainment, The Subs Band, Jimbonairs, Sugarmill Slim, and Tenscore ; dancing; vintage and rare cars; children’s activities; festive foods from local eateries like Mijares Mexican Restaurant, Robin’s Wood Fire BBQ, Pam’s Sweet Shack and Funnel Cakes, The Old Fashion Kettle Korn Co., Birra Tacos, Lord Empanada, Dina’s Dumplings, L.C. Smashed Burgers and Handel’s Homemade Ice Cream, and Vchos Pupuseria; craft beers from Craftsman Brewing, Eagle Rock Brewery, and Hop City; specialty cocktails; hand-picked wine varietals and so much more – it’s was a party of the ages for all ages!

All proceeds of the Colorado Street Bridge Party support the mission of Pasadena Heritage to identify, preserve and protect the historic, architectural and cultural resources of the City of Pasadena.
