Blinn House Capital Campaign

We are excited to welcome you and the rest of the community to Pasadena Heritage’s new headquarters, the historic Edmund Blinn House! In order to complete several critical restoration projects and reopen the home we are launching a Blinn House Capital Campaign.

In early 2021 Pasadena Heritage acquired the Blinn House from the Women’s City Club of Pasadena. The organization is deeply honored to have become the home’s new owners and is very grateful to the Women’s City Club for not only entrusting us with this significant historic resource, but for preserving and protecting the house for more than 75 years.

Critical restoration work began in March of 2021, which will not only ensure that this historic landmark is preserved, but that it can soon return to its use as a community resource. To date we have completed asbestos abatement, electrical upgrades, plaster repairs, roof replacement, HVAC improvements and insulation of the unfinished attic space. Although we have made great strides and significant progress, we still have a long way to go and several critical projects. We anticipate investing over a million dollars over the next three to five years. To complete the Blinn House restoration we need your help and support.

We are so fortunate to have received tremendous support. All of us at Pasadena Heritage send our most sincere thanks to these true champions of preservation in the Pasadena community!

If you have questions about the campaign, please contact Sue Mossman, Executive Director at smossman@pasadenaheritage.org.

This project was funded in part by a grant from the Pasadena Community Foundation.
