The mission of Pasadena Heritage is to identify, preserve and protect the historic, architectural and cultural resources of the City of Pasadena through advocacy and education.
Pasadena Heritage is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit founded in 1977 to combat the demolition of cherished cultural and historic landmarks in Pasadena.
Through advocacy, education, historic walking tours, the tri-annual weekend event Preservation Pasadena, the beloved Pasadena tradition the Colorado Street Bridge Party and so much more, we are dedicated to the protection and defense of Pasadena’s rich history and extraordinary architectural legacy.
Educating the public about Pasadena’s cultural and historic resources and architectural heritage is a principal tenet of our mission.
Throughout the year our varied educational offerings include guided walking tours, narrated bus tours, presentations and illustrated lectures by preservation experts, and self-guided or drive-yourself tours.
Help preserve Pasadena’s history, save endangered buildings, structures and places, and defend Pasadena’s storied legacy.
